Assistant Professor Boonchai Sangpetngam was invited to the Freight Transport of the Future workshop, organized through Assistant Professor Waressara Weerawat, Head of the Logistics Innovation Center project at Mahidol University, together with Newcastle University in the United Kingdom. The workshop received Newton Fund support from the British Council and the Thailand Research Fund. It enabled lecturers and researchers in Thailand and abroad to exchange knowledge and experience, recognize the importance of promoting research, and build international academic collaboration networks. It was held on 22–26 January 2018 in the Maha Sawat Room, Salaya Pavilion Hotel, Mahidol University International College.
