iRAP reports 500 km of Bangkok roads assessed and 360 high-risk sites upgraded through ThaiRAP’s work with BMA. Kasem Choocharukul is identified as ThaiRAP lead.
Figures were reported in January 2025 and describe programme outputs, not a measured reduction in crashes.
Industry prototype · July presentation
Boonchai Sangpetngam and Tipco Asphalt presented a prototype combining reclaimed asphalt concrete with a waste-palm-oil rejuvenator.
The 2024 report describes prototype development; commercial adoption and current project status are unconfirmed.
Student engineering · Field study
A student project supervised by Tospol Pinkaew used accelerometer measurements and frequency analysis to estimate cable tension, with field tests at Rama VIII Bridge.
